Last week I took a road trip to the Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec with two good friends. The company, conversation and scenery where an intoxicating mix filled with adventures, challenges and delicious food, we were all sad when it came time to head home.
We did several challenging hikes on the Appalachian Trail, one to the very tip of Cape Gaspe where the trail begins/ends and two to various mountain peaks with stunning views (once the fog lifted or before the rain clouds rolled in).
This view of L'Anse Blanchette in Forillon National Park overlooking the Gulf of the St Lawrence set off little sparks of inspiration for a new rug hooking - stay tuned.
More to come soon.
